Shannon Airport, Co. Clare, IRELAND has been used for many years as a US military refueling base, and is thus directly involved in the ongoing killing, suffering and displacement of innocent people in Iraq and Afghanistan. The airport is also a refuelling stop for planes used by the CIA to illegally transport prisoners to locations where they are tortured or "disappeared". |
